| A Brief Introduction |

This is a rehash of my profile, because I'm eager to test out this layout but have class in thirty minutes and lack the indulgence of time.
This year, 2006, will be my fifth attempt at an official NaNoWriMo novel. Previous novels include:
2002: Subterfuge
2003: The Runes of Raenor
2004: Nonsensical Ages [full text]
2005: The Fourth Son [full text]
I go by SilverDragon on the forums, and mostly post in the Procrastination forum.
I am a college student who loves to write - fiction, that is! However I have become quite proficient at babbling in all sorts of essays and papers, doubtless inspiring many of my teachers and GSIs to hint that I should be "more concise." That, and cease and desist with the abuse of literary evidence, but that I blame on speech and debate.
My grammar is terrible. Ever since taking the SATs, I've let everything slip from mind. Fortuntely good grammar is not a requisite for NaNo.
I do have a tendency to friend random NaNo folks whose novels intrigue me. If this is not okay with you, you need only drop me a line. Corollary to that, if it is okay with you, then please friend me back. It's always fun to complain about lost muses write with some new friends.
I have not yet decided if I will post this year's novel online like last year. With a full courseload, work, and various other obligations, I do not anticipate coming even remotely close to winning this year. Ah well. It's always worth a try. |
